This was the first cake for my little girl - i said i'd never to the muffin type cake again after my little boy's first attempt, but i had to do the pink girlie flower cake and thought this style looked good when i saw a picture, i altered it of course.
I helped my girlfriend make this one in may 06 - she was to make just a teddy bear cake but her little boy loved Tigger but she was too scared to give it a go. she and i were happy with the end product!
My little boy wanted a spaceship for his 3rd birthday in sep 05, i think i did great, i loved this - from the biscuits surrounding the place to all the silver studs. was happy with this one, as was everyone else. i was just worried about it travelling the 20 mins in the car - i had to hold it!!
I was happy with the improvement on this cake, compared to my first go. still a fiddly one to do though - very time consuming.
This was my first go at Lightning McQueen from CARS the movie. not bad........... maybe........ i thought.
Happy with this cake - and it was soooooooo easy to make, easier than i though when i picked it, it all came together once the black gel was complete around the edges, it made it final.
This was my first go at a cake in Sep 03, i thought i chose an easy one, but this took ages because it was all muffins and they had to be iced seperately - i was happy with the final product though as my little boy loved balloons.

Race track made for my little boy in Sept 04, just for when he really started to love cars (i made this cake on the evening of coming home from having baby no2, not too bad i thought) !!
