Gender Neutral Baby Shower
This cake was for a baby shower where the parents didn't know the sex of the child, and there was no theme....it was really hard to come up with some inspiration....finally, I decided on pastels....wanted it to be simple. White Cupcakes with french Vanilla Buttercream. Chocolate Cake with FVB.

Jens Shower Top
This cake was for my best friends bridal shower. I am the MOH so making vs. buying was a no brainer. My first cake of this quantity. LOTS of cake. 10in white, 8in spice, 6in chocolate and another 8in chocolate on the side just in case...and it's a GOOD thing we had that! Iced in buttercream w/royal snowflakes.

Jens Shower Practice
I made this cake as a practice cake. I'm the MOH in my best friends wedding, so there was no question on making the cake vs. buying!!! It's my first time using the ribbon on the cake, and it was so easy, and makes it look SOOO elegant. For the shower, i'm using the Wilton Party Stand w/the 3 offset tiers. I just made this 8in cake. I didn't figure I needed to practice all 3 since they'll be the same!!! I'm still trying to figure out an elegant topper for the top tier. I tried icing sugar cookies on a stick....but when I put them in...cute as they were, it just took away from the "elegant" look of the cake. Any tips? Ideas? I like the look of the ones that have the silver wire and such...maybe I could hang some snowflakes off of some curly silver wire...but I have no idea what kind of wire I need or how to do it....The shower is the 29th of this month, so any input would be GREATLY appreciated!
