This was my first attempt at NFSC and Antonia's icing... I LOVE them both. Very easy to work with! Obviously I need practice but I had fun doing them!! Oh, and they taste yummy too!
This was just a practice cake, I know the border is uneven. We just ate it at home so it didn't matter!
I did these cakes for my parents 50th Birthday party. They were the first cakes I did, I learned alot from these. I forgot to put something under the edges of the cakes so there was icing all over the cake boards and I forgot to cover them in foil, AND I forgot to put a heavy board under them so they cracked! Oh well, live and learn! I did put confetti on the cakes boards later so you couldn't see the frosting all over! It was a cute idea anyway! (they are supposed to be records)

My girlfriends and I went out to lunch and I made this cake to bring with, the waitress and the manager both asked if I do cakes professionally and wanted my name and number for future orders and I was like "WHAT????" I didn't think this cake was anything special, I did it late last night and was really tired so I couldn't believe it. I just started doing this and haven't sold one cake yet. Just thought I'd share, I thought it was kinda funny!
I know sheet cakes are boring at least for me because I don't really know what to put on them but I thought I needed to start my collection!
