Buttercream icing with fondant accents on the bottom two tiers, and buttercream piped on the top. The numbers were cut from gumpaste and dusted with glitter and attached to wires.
The cake is iced in buttercream in white on top and blue around the sides to match the baby bedding the parents chose. The cow is the main character on the bedding, so I copied it onto the cake and filled in with buttercream in a rough pattern to give some texture. I used blue fondant for the writing.
I was asked to copy this design from a picture that was found onlne. It is buttercream, using the wedding colors eggplant and ivy.
