My first paid cake. For a friend who would like to upgrade to a Volkswagen Golf but wife said 'No'. Its an orange cake with chocolate filling. Fondant accents. 2D fondant car on white chocolate dream 'cloud'. The fondant slips as the icing softens. I hope the cake make it till the end of the party!

Chocolate cake with whipped chocolate cream filling. My domestic helper said ' what a nice bear!', then my sister asked ' is that a lion?'. Then I put the cake into the fridge and the fondant accents turned sweaty! I think I should up on using fondant or do any figure sculpting. :-(

My hubby's birthday cake. Carrot cake with cream cheese frosting. Many firsts for this cake. First carrot cake, first cream cheese frosting, first fondant modelling. And broke 2 records - longest baking time (2.5 hours), shortest decoration time (45 minutes). The fondant man was a last minute addition, made in 30 minutes, just before the dinner, I didn't even have time to colour his attire. But anyhow, I am very happy with how the cake turned out! Thanks for looking.
