We always do a cake on Christmas eve. I wanted last years to be different. It is all buttercream.
We wanted a cake to match my nephews bedroom decor. The frosting is buttercream and the other is fondant.
My 5 year old neighbor wanted a rocket that stood up. I think it came out ok. I used 3- 6 inch cakes, 2- 4 inch cakes and 1 mini doll mold pan. The base was made out of wood covered in tinfoil. The fire is fruit tape, the smoke is cotton balls. I wrote his name down one side and USA down the other.
My first character cake.
I made this for a party at my house. I used the piping gel transfer method.
I made the big cake for the party and used a polly pocket for her own small cake. She then got to keep the polly pocket. She liked that.
