this was a cake i did for my friend's daughter's sweet sixteen. first time i ever did a tiered cake (more than two layers) also first time ever using pillars so i learned alot...many things i would do differently. the birthday girl loved it though so i guess that is all that matters. it is a vanilla cake with a raspberry cream filling. 1/2 IMBC and 1/2 regular BC icing. fondant accents. also first time i've done any work with RI sculptures. thanks for looking =)

this was the first cookie cake i ever made. was nervous baking a giant cookie like that. the disco ball didn't turn out at all like i wanted but i think the over all affect was fun. The girls thought it looked good and tasted great though =)
This was a cake i made for my friend's 3 year old's birthday. it is a 1/2 italian meringe, 1/2 regular bc . for some reason i had a horrible time getting it smooth and it didn't crust over. dorothy is made of gumpaste and hand painted. fondant accessories. overall i think it turned out okay.
this was the cake that i did for my final cake in my fondant class i took. first time i made a gumpase flower and a fondant drape. i hand painted the flower and the fondant board. i was very please with how it turned out.
i made this cake for my husband's birthday. i've never made ganache before. it tasted fabulous but boy was it ugly LOL please tell me what i did wrong???? =)
this was my first baby shower cake and it was so fun. it was for a friend who was bringing it to a shower at her school. i was so nervous because it was for 50 people i didn't know. my fondant wasn't real smooth but otherwise i think it turned out okay. also my characters need more work. thanks to so many people who's ideas i found on here. especially yourstrulytx who did a cake from the same napkins and gave me some pointers =) thanks for looking. would love some advise since i'm new to cake deco
my DD's second birthday cake (for family party) must admit i rushed on this one and really didn't like how it turned out. i'm pretty new at this cake decorating thing and i struggle with getting my BC smooth. going to check out the techniques i read about on here =) thanks for looking. any advise is welcome =)
my DD turned 10 the same week as my other DD turning one so it was a busy week baking with company. She loved her cake but the details aren't very good. Thank you for the many inspirations on this site.
this is the cake i did for my DD first birthday. i didn't have as much time as i would have liked to work on it because my sister flew in to surprise me. i think it turned out alright though. my little one nose dived into her piece so i think it was a hit. i got many ideas from so many wonderful cakes on here. i love this site =)
this was my second attempt at fondant accessories. a mom saw the other cake that i did and asked if i could make one for her daughter. my cake wasn't extremely level and the icing was causing me havoc but otherwise i think it turned out okay. molly loved it and i guess that's all that matters. thanks for looking =)
