Baby Angel
Sorry for the poor lighting on this pic. This cake was iced with buttercream and was airbrushed using a cloud technique. The borders were created using a tip #5 (bottom), Tip #18 (middle) and tip #5 for the top. The flowers were made of white chocolate fondant and the topper (and bottom) were the precious moments figures which I like to use for a new mothers keepsake.

Cotton_Candy_Baby
This is a buttercream iced 14" & 9" Diam cake. The bears were piped using tips 5 (body), and 3 (the rest). For the topper, I used cotton candy. I placed the cotton candy on the cake RIGHT before I placed it on display. The air will disintegrate the candy if it sits to long. It was a little risky, but the outcome is beautiful. I keep an extra bag of cotton candy on hand in case it requires replacing.

Thank Heaven For Little Girls
This cake was iced in buttercream using chocopan flowers placed on the side. The bows were made of fondant and the carnations were of royal icing. The large flowers were airbrushed to give a soft color to the cake. The rose and the large petal flowers were lightly dusted with luster dust. The colors I selected matched the room colors of the nursery which the new mom truly appreciated.

Cinderella Castle Theme
I saw a picture of a cake castle on the internet and thought to use the idea for a 4-yr old's birthday cake with a Cenderella theme. It's iced in buttercream, the castle top borders are made of gumpaste and tip #14 and #16 were used to bring them together. The cake was sprinkled with edible glitter. I made the fondant castle top borders by using a pattern, and placing the cut fondant to harden on the inside of the cake pan I used to make the cake with (one of my better ideas).

Basketball Theme
This simple buttercream cake has a hand painted plaque of the boys favorite basketball team. I used tip #18 for the top border with a #5 tip for the underlining top border as well as the bottom borders. The border around the plaque is a #14 tip. The "stars" were created from the drop flower tip #33.

Flowers And Stitching
This was my first attempt with the "stitching" method. This cake was made for a lady who loves to stitch and although she was 92 years old, still continued with this love. The plaque was made with chocopan and painted with a luster-dust and vodka mixture. The plaque was soft enough to cut through without all the cracking. The "Nanu" name and stitch was first made with running sugar, then when dried I used royal icing with a medium thickness to create the "stitching" effect over the name.

Rose Romance
This Cream Cheese icing cake was decorated with fondant roses and chocopan pearls (chocopan allows for a nice shape and doesn't completely harden so it's easier and tastier to eat). The top border was made with a #16 tip the second and bottom border were with the #18 top. The smaller flowers were made with royal icing. The larger roses were painted with luster dust.

Baby Boy Moon Theme
This is a buttercream cake with a chocopan plaque (I chose chocopan because it does not harder completely and remains a little flexible, and is quite tastefull). I hand-painted the plaque using luster-dust and vodka mixture. The borders were made with a #18 tip. The sides were made with a #102 tip.

Fancy-Full Rose
This is an all buttercream cake with small chocopan flowers (chocopan has a nice flavor and will make them more edible). The roses and ribbons were made of fondant and painted with luster dust colors. The pearls were hand-made with chocopan and pearl dusted. The top border was made with #16 tip, the bottom border with #18.
