This was for a first birthday party. The cake matched the little birthday girls dress! It was a very very hot, humid and stormy day, so my poor fondant bow and butterfly's were very droopy. I took the picture towards the end of the party, so the bow was falling apart already. It is a three layer cake of Chocolate WASC with chocolate filling, WASC with strawberry filling and half chocolate have WASC with chocolate filling. The cake is frosted with SMBC.
This is a cake a did for a friend who won tournaments sponsored by Waste Management and Sony. I wanted to combine the two sponsors and the golf theme in this cake. The garbage can is made of 4 layers of cake frosted with buttercream then covered in fondant. The "old school walkman" is rice krispie treats covered in fondant, same with the headphones. The golf balls are molded white chocolate.
A few different cupcakes made for a baby shower. I used the colors from the invitation for the frosting and fondant. Chocolate cupcakes and carrot cake cupcakes. I also made the cupcake stand.
A face and helmet for a University of Michigan themed birthday party. I used a ball pan for the head and buttercream for the decorations.
