Chocolate fudge cake with cherry-vanilla buttercream filling. Buttercream icing, color flow spiderman. Airbrushed city scape. I swirled the icing color onto the actual cake surface after it was iced. Lady liked it A LOT!
For my friend's 22nd birthday. She has these pisces fish tattooed on her foot, so I put them on her cake! Chocolate cake with cherry whipped icing filling, white whipped icing. Piping gel swirls, fondant "bubbles" on side of cake, buttercream hand-piped fishies.
First cupcake cake! Thanks to the CC'ers for the ideas!!! White cupcakes with butter-vanilla buttercream. Piping gel "water trap" and brown sugar "sand bunker." Was for my boyfriend's Grandpa. He loved it.

Devil's food cake with chocolate ganache filling and glaze, frosted with chocolate buttercream. It was delicious.
Cake made for my business cards. Jumbo cornelli lace pattern with random patches of gree and pink filled in. The tops of the layers of the cake are fondant panels with zebra striping.

3 tiered Dora cake was requested after seeing the Dora pan cake, but the little girl wanted something different. The sand is brown sugar, the characters are royal icing and so is the #4 on the top layer.
I used the Dora cake pan from Wilton for this. I just filled it in with the #16 tip and tinted buttcream icing.
My first ever cake order. I hand-piped Barbie onto the cake because the stencil technique I was going to use didn't work out so well. I think it turned out anyway! :o)
