This cake is based off a photo of another designer's work, but what the Mom wanted for the little princess. Was way too hot to make the bow work well, but I think the over-all cake is pretty cute.
First time I baked & decorated the Mini-Bear Cake Pan from Wilton. Didn't notice until the pictures that the one eye was smaller than the other. I think I was the only one who noticed though!
White Chocolate Cake covered in buttercream, then fondant. Decorated with Royal Icing stripes and flowers.
Vanilla Cake decorated with Fondant, Buttercream Frosting and Fondant Roses/leaves.
This cake was actually made with a heart shapped tip, but the frosting was too soft, so it looked more like a hershey's kiss than a heart. It ended up being quite cute, despite the dissapointment in the "special" tip.

The layers are the actual Chesnut cake, a Chocolate Ganache and a Chesnut Buttercream. The cake is covered in a Chocolate Ganache and decorated with candied walnuts.
This is the cake I made for my Dad's 50th Birthday. It was absolutely delicious when it was finished. I'll post another photo of it showing the layers inside of the cake.
