Snowman Wonderland Cake
Made this for my aunt who's birthday was the same day as our family's Christmas get-together. Got the inspiration for this cake from the Wilton site's A Very Merry-Go-Round cake. Bottom is a 2 layer 8 x 2 inch round, top is two layer 6 x 2 inch round. Buttercream. NFSC cookies with rbc and royal accents. Real candy canes and mints.
Snowman Cookie Collage
My second attempt at snowman cookies. Needed these for my Snowman Cake. NFSC with RBC and Antonia74 royal icing accents.
I decided to make some more snowman cookies, this time trying out some other colors...not just blue!! NFSC with RBC and Antonia74 accents. My royal was a little too thin so I had some troubles.
Here is my version of the snowman cookie! Lots of inspiration from this site...no one person in particular!! NFSC with RBC and antonia74 royal accents. Part of Christmas cookie baskets I made to give as gifts at my children's school.
I made these snowman cookies as part of a cookie basket. Modified no fail sugar cookies with rolled buttercream and antonia74 royal icing accents.
I used a flower cutter to make these snowflakes. Modified NFSC with RBC and Antonia74 royal accents. These were made to go in gift baskets.
Christmas tree cookies. Made these to go in baskets for teachers, school secretary, principal, Deacon. Modified NFSC with RBC and Anotonia74 icing.
Wizard Of Oz Cookies
I made these for my dd to take to school. I used gingerbread boy/girl cutters. NFSC. My first time using Antonia74s royal icing. Used only tips #1 and #2.
Wizard Of Oz
Wizard of Oz cake for my daughters 5th birthday. Bottom is two layer, 8 x 2 inch round (chocolate). Top is two layer, 6 x 2 inch round (confetti). The Emerald City is made of pretzel rods covered in melted white chocolate chips and I added green food dye while melting. Attached Emerald City to the cake with popsicle sticks, although my chocolate was a little messy so I couldn't push it all the way in. Not a great photo...cell phone photo taken at hotel.
Thanksgiving Flower Cookies
Made these to take to a family get together over Thanksgiving weekend. Made a total of 24. A modified NFSC recipe with buttercream. Used a flower petal tip for the flower and the grass tip for the center of flower.
I made this cake to take to our family Thanksgiving get together. It was a 2 layer, 6 x2 inch round cake. Lemon cake with buttercream icing. Pumpkins were mello-creme candies. Grass border with yellow star flowers. Really quick and easy to make!
This is a 2 layer, 6 inch round. Applesauce Spice cake (DH) with french vanilla flavored bc. Made for hubby to take to work. Still need to practice getting my bc smooth, but I'm getting better....I'll get there!! Drop star flowers in fall colors.
Ghost Cookie Packaged
Daughter's Halloween school treat. NFSC with RBC and royal accents. Printer not working so had to hand print labels. Packaged in cello bags (found at WalMart). First time packaging in the bags and loved using them! Much nicer than the sandwich bags!
Made these for my daughter to take to school as her Halloween treat. NFSC. RBC. Royal accents.
Spiderman And Green Goblin
This was the second cake I made for my son's 6th birthday. This one was for his party with family. 11 x 15. FBCT. These were two seperate pictures from a coloring book...tried to make them look like they were supposed to go together. Spiderman didn't come out as clearly as I wanted as my 21 month old stuck his finger through it as I was working on it and had to try and repair (kids!). Was overall happy with the transfers. Think the cake looks unfinished. Should have done border around top of cake.
I made this for my sons 6th birthday. He took it into school and the kids loved it. 11 x 15, half white half chocolate cake. FBCT. Didn't have any black food dye and had to mix a lot of colors to get my black and gray. Sorry about the poor quality picture...camera phone.
Centerpiece Wedding Cake At Reception
This picture was taken by the photographer at the wedding reception. I did 26 wedding cakes as centerpieces. 2 layer 6 inch rounds. White cake with blue sprinkles. BC icing. All cakes were different per bride orders. Wedding and reception were outdoors. I know my cake looks lopsided, but it was actually the table and not my cake. There are other mistakes, but my cake was level!! This was my first wedding. Usually just do cakes for family.
Centerpiece Wedding Cakes
In September I had an order for 26 wedding centerpiece cakes. This was the first of 26 completed (hence all the mess in the background). All cakes were white with blue sprinkles. All iced in BC. Bride was married on the beach and wanted all cakes to be blue, white, and/or aqua. No beach theme. Left designs to me. Unfortunately, this was the only picture I got of my cakes (although I've found out the photographer did get a couple).
Valentines Day Cookie Bouquets
Made these for my sons teacher, teacher aid, school secretary and principal. First ever cookie bouquets. Made for Valentines this past February. Dollar store mugs as containers. NFSC. Base coat is a basic glaze, details and writing in royal.
Bee Mine, Valentine Cookies
NFSC. Wings are glaze, body royal. My son handed these out as school for Valentines Day this past February. Used a lady bug cookie cutter as I couldn't find a bee cutter. Sorry about the quality of the picture and the glare from the bag.
Teddy Bears First Birthday
This was made for our youngest sons 1st birthday. His nickname is Teddy Bear so thought this cake was appropriate. Buttercream.
Grateful Dead/steal Your Face
I made this a couple of years ago for hubby's 30th birthday. He's a huge Grateful Dead fan. Bottom was a 9 x 13, top a 9 inch round. I printed a copy of the steal your face symbol, cut out the pieces and laid them on the cake, and then used a toothpick to trace the symbol onto the cake (this was before I knew about the pin prick method). All buttercream.
