NYC cake for friend's birthday. She loves NYC and cows and shopping. The bottom tier is chocolate with buttercream oreo filling. The top tier is butter cake with same filling. Cakes are frosted with buttercream. Decorations are fondant and also graham cracker covered in royal icing. Lots of inspiration came from cakes in the CC gallery!!
Buttercream frosting with candle topper
I made this cake for my daughter's first birthday. The 10" tier is chocolate cake with chocolate chip buttercream filling. The 6" tier is butter cake with strawberry buttercream filling. Frosted with chocolate buttercream. All decorations are white candy melts tinted pink.

This is my first cake that someone other than my husband will see. It is for a friend's birthday. 6" tier, butter cake, torted and filled with buttercream mixed with apricot preserves. Hope it's a hit!
