Made for a little boy who LOVES Spongebob!
Just another edible image! I was given the photo and asked to come up with something for this retired TV repair man's birthday cake!
This is the sheet cake with the tub on top! The boys names are in the bubbles and message reads (hard to see in the picture): Rub, a dub, dub..There will be two babies in your tub!
I made this small cake to go on top of another large sheet cake. Everything is made from fondant!
The Captain of the firehouse and his wife are expecting their first baby...a girl obviously....and they have nicknamed her "Captain 1-1/2"
This man was actually sitting in the park on a bench. The picture hanging on the wall is another picture of the same man. The family wanted me to incorporate both pictures into one cake...so that's what I came up with for them!
..yep, another edible image but this one is a little different in that the child and Barney were NOT in the same picture. I did a little photo editing to make it appear that the child is sitting on Barney's lap!
Ok, here is my "sorry quick take" on the bra/panty cake that a few of us talked about making for Valentines Day. I wasn't even going to post it but I thought "what the heck"
One of many single serving Valentine Treat for a local cafe! I did their logo with an edible image.
Luscious banana cake made from scratch, with a cream cheese frosting!
Tiered 50th anniversary cake in buttercream icing. Gold flowers are made of royal icing and white ones are made of fondant/gumpaste! Ooooppss...I didn't have the columns lined up!
An example of a not so good "photo" that someone wanted on a cake and tie in with flamingos! Go figure!
Just playing with some "single serving" ideas for Valentines Day!
This sheet cake was made to look like the cover of the "Seventeen Magazine", but personalized with her photos and interests. The fake barcode is actually her birthday!
A Valentine Anniversary cake with buttercream icing. The message was done with an edible image...I just love that stuff!
Basic sheet cake decorated with buttercream (not including the barn & tractor, of course!) The message was applied using edible paper!
Ever since I saw the picture of the turkey that another member of this board did, I've been wanting to give this a try! This was fun to do and fooled a lot of people! 2005 Food Cakes Contest Winner
This is just a simple seasonal design, which includes buttercream icing, gumpaste leaves and an edible image!
