Leaning Tower Of Pisa
One of the more stressful cakes I have made! The grapes were easy - gumpaste on wire, but the tower itself was challenging. I formed RKT around a dowel using white chocolate as glue. Then I wrapped that in fondant, made each row of balconies using gumpaste and an extruder. It weighed 5 pounds! I just kept picturing it ripping through the cake - but it held! Made for a bridal shower - Italian honeymoon!
