Dora The Explorer Cake For 2 Year Old Girl
This cake is basic yellow (too many picky people at the party) with BC icing. The flowers are royal icing, my first attempt with that specific tip and my first attempt with royal icing actually lol. The little house represented the little girls house. The little sugar cookie sign beside the house said Skys Party! The house itself was made with sugar cookies and royal icing using signature Dora The Explorer colors. This was the first cake I have done outside of my family and everyone was thrilled with the results. I am so thankful too, because I was terrified the mother of the little girl would not like it. She actually didnt want to cut the cake, she said it was too pretty to cut. LoL.

Brother-In-Law's Going Away Cake
This is a cake I made for my brother-in-law during his leave before he was shipped out to the desert the first of September. It is basic yellow cake with all buttercream frosting. I used a traced copy of the US Air Force emblem I found online and just carefully outined the design onto the cake and then filled in. Everyone at his party was impressed with it.

6Th Year Old Niece's Cake (She Loved It!)
This cake was for my niece who turned 6 on July 28th 2007. She chose a Hello Kitty theme for her party and had a specific cake in mind she wanted. I made it as close as possible to picture she gave me. It is a strawberry cake with whipped icing . I was still perfecting my buttercream icing when she asked me to make her cake. I didn't feel comfortable trying it out with a little less than a week to prepare the cake.
