Disclaimer - I had NO tools to work with, and had a 12 yo, 10 yo and 7 yo assisting. Not my best work, but I had a great time making it with my nephews. It's a vanilla sponge, filled with WBHBC, and frosted in chocolate BC. The wood grain was made with a fork
Four layer chocolate cake, white chocolate filling, semisweet ganache coated. I chilled the remaining ganache and mixed it into bc to pipe the borders, writing and poinsettia.
This is an 11x15 Scratch WASC covered in 50/50 Wilton BC. The igloo is a sports ball pan, iced in blue, and tiled with Domino sugar tiles. The trees are sugar cones in varying heights. I used alot of sparkles on this cake, but think the result is amazing.
10" square, covered in BC, with gumpaste noah's ark and animals. First time sculpting figurines.
Wilton course 2 finale. 6", BC, covered in RI flowers. This pic is on my desk at work, and I get loads of compliments for it.
My first sold cake! 6 & 10, covered in BC, airbrushed with pink and purple, BC flowers. Next time I hope to make my own crown.
10" tiramisu cake, covered in WBC BC, decorated to be a frog/pond/grass scene. Fondant accents, piping gel pond, RI lily flowers (actually left over mums from course 2). I cheated on the frog - he's from walmart's toy bin. Oh well, this was a very short notice cake (12 hours).
3 tier, covered in Ivory Fondant, with gumpaste easter lilies. My first 3 tiered cake.
Chocolate Cake, White BC Icing, and that is supposed to be a B52 Bomber on top
