Woweee fellow decorators! I have just returned home from the 7pm wedding that I made this cake for. It was my first wedding cake - not perfect but made a good impression. Pound cake with bc and chocolate sea shells. Sand is granulated brown sugar with more chocolate sea shells. Transport was nerve racking. The cake was a 14",10", and 6". The bride cried when she saw it, (tears of joy) so I guess I did okay. Thanks for looking!
I made this cake for a friend's 3 year old little boy. He's not really into action figures and such so they did hey rides and the cake matched the theme perfectly. He was sooooo excited! I made this cake for my neighbors 30th bday. He is an avid hunter and the party was held at The Bass Pro Shop's Islamorada Fish Company Restaurant. I wasn't thrilled with the cattails, but his wife was very pleased.
I made this cake for my nephew's 3rd bday. Yellow cake w/ bc icing. Barn is old Wilton gingerbread house cake pan from my moms attic. Fence is pretzel sticks attached with bc and animals are just plastic toys. Any feedback?
