My First Wedding Cake Ever!!!
This cake was done in all buttercream, with fresh flowers at the bride's request (ho hum). I was all excited about doing a wedding cake, and wanted to do something spectacular, but she wanted this plain design. Oh well - there's always the next one! (hopefully) :) Thanks for looking!
Chocolate cupackes iced with buttercream, fondant accents. This was my first try with the Viva method - I'm never going back!!!
5Th Office Anniversary
This cake was done for an employee's 5th anniversary with her company. I hand-carved the 5 and iced with chocolate buttercream and gumpaste flowers.
I made this cake for my husband's boss when he retired. I was requested to make the handset stable enough to pick up - talk about a tall order! After many attempts, I found that the best way was to skewer the mess out of it. We were able to pick it up and hang it up one time! Yay!!
Baby New Year
I made this cake with the Wilton Standing Bear Pan. I had to trim it down a little, and I cut the ears off the top, and stuck them to the sides with toothpicks.
This cake was done out of buttercream, with fondant tiles. The hardest part was coming up with the design.
Stacked Birthday Presents
This was my first attempt at stacked presents, and was for my son's 1st birthday. Any comments or advice are greatly appreciated!
