Birthday cake for a friend of my mom. Could not find the figurine with the man in the boat that I thought I would pick up when I made the cake. Otherwise I would have made him a bank to stand on.
This was my first attempt at fondant. I had a hard time keeping the BC smooth. Seemed like every time I put on a piece of fondant the BC shifted some how. All in all pretty satisfied with this cake. It was many, many first for me being a newbie.
