I got a request for a cake of Hogwarts castle. The person asking for this requested NO fondant. So I created this version. I must give credit to http://gallery.britta.com/Y7hogwarts for her wonderful tutorial on how to make a gingerbread Hogwarts castle. The base of the cake is a white cake with butter cream frosting. The castle is created of sugar cookies. The tops towers are made of ice cream cones. The towers are also made of cookies. I made the walkways out of candy melts and the windows are made of candy clay. Except for the dowels to hold everything on, this cake is 100% edible.
Cupcake cake for a Chinese themed birthday. The dragon is covered in buttercream frosting and MMF. The head was sculpted by stacking cupcakes together.
