Castle Cake
My biggest cake disaster ever...the turrets slouched over before the day was done. But, still cute. 14" square base - 4 layers. Swiss rolls on each corner. Individual fondant 'bricks' facing the outside of all surfaces. Turets and detail work done mostly in chocolate. The princess still loved it though. :)

Baby Shower Cake With Roses
Baby shower cake in pinks and peaches, roses and stripes - all made to match a scrapped invitation. Fondant covered 14" base and 10" 2nd tier. Fondant roses on top. Baby dresses were the shower theme - there was a clothes line piped onto the 2nd tier with fondant and royal icing dresses on the line.

6 Tier Christmas Tree Cake
This was a 6 tiered cake - each tier supported by a star shaped acrylic plastic sheet (custom cut). Each tier was cut to match the shape of the star place, iced, and then draped with fondant. The ornaments were handmade with fonndant as well. I didn't have many final 'staged' photos, but it turned out well. And I never ever want to make it again. :)

Purple Care Bear Cake
I made this cake for a 2 year old's birthday. The bottom tier was a 2 layer 14" round. The top tier was a single layer, with some scraps used to supplement the contours on the Care Bear's face and cheeks. It was all covered in Rolled fondant. The clouds were made of royal icing, and attached when firm. The top tier (the Care Bear) was supported by a base of 1/8" clear plastic base - cut to the shape of the care bear, and supported with dowels into the bottom layer (assembled like a wedding cake).
