I did this cake based off a photo i was given from the customer. I believe the cake is an original Cake Girls, but not positive. Top and third tier are yellow cake, 2nd and 4th are chocolate cake with strawberry filling. Cake is covered in fondant and hand pipped with buttercream icing in an aqua/sky blue color. This ENTIRE cake is done in ICING! I love how it turned out, but if I did it again, I need to make the ears slightly smaller. Made this fun cake for a friends birthday. She wanted a minnie mouse cake with no fondant! So, i had fun. This was a great way to challenge me and I feel I learned a lot from this. Hope you like it.

I made this Giant cupacke cake with stars for my boss. We were surprising her at work with a birthday celebration. She was suppose to come into work LATER in the day, ended up showing up early, so I had to hide the cake... which was kind of fun! I made her a special cake so she could take it home and celebrate with her husband. She loved the cake. All of the cake was confetti, by request. My boss doesnt like chocolate! Had so much fun making this cake, glad everyone enjoyed it. I love how cakes make people smile!
I made this cake, very last minute for my co-workers. The cake was Vanilla, and lemon, with buttercream icing. I just needed a cake for fun, and wanted to share the love with my co-workers!
This shisha dog is a traditional Japanese symbol that is meant to bring in luck and peace, but keep out evil. This one is more of a comical version of a shisha dog. I wanted to keep the cake simple as the shisha took me awhile to make. The cake was vanilla with buttercream icing. I really had fun with this cake and I hope you all like it as well!
I made this cake, as a last minute (4 day notice) for a friend of a friend. The top cake was Vanilla, bottom was Chocolate all covered in Vanilla buttercream icing. Decorations were all Gum Paste, because I needed them to dry quickly!
My client sent me a photo of another cake, someone else had done. She wanted basically the same thing. I changed it a little, but overall I think I did okay. Nothing fancy here, just simple and clea. The my little ponys are plastic. Everything else is fondant, and or gumpaste. The cake is covered in buttercream icing. CSM
This cake was a first for me. A first in the fact that I finally got to make the circle dot combination. I have seen this design on here a hundred times, and I kept saying I want to do that. Well, finally a client cake to me wanting this design, and I took on the challenge. However, I felt like when I was done, the cake still needed something... any ideas? I LOVED THIS CAKE! I almost didn't want to take it to the client. I enjoyed this cakes beauty to the extreme. I have always been a beauty and the beast lover, so when I finally got to make a princess belle cake, (yeah i know, im a little kid at heart), what can I say I was jumpin for joy! This was the classic marble cake with buttercream icing. The draping, was fun and challenging. The idea came from another photo, and I loved the inspiration! Thanks for looking. CSM
This was just your everyday twilight request! LOL I cut the black and white square pieces out, and placed them one by one, to make a perfect tile look. The flower is gumpaste, the ribbon, and chess pieces are fondant, and the appel is RKT covered in fondant. Loved making this cake! Vanilla cake with buttercream icing. TFL, CSM
This cake was a blast! The client sent me this photo of a similar design, but honestly it was too much, and I wanted to make the design more whimsical. This cake was vanilla cake with chocolate buttercream icing, covered with fondant. The tree is both styrofoam and RKT. The tree trunk is stryofoam. The small houses are RKT. The animals are all plastic. I had so much fun making this cake. I just was worried about the tree, overall though it held up well! CSM, and thanks for looking!
This is my first "book" cake. I struggled with carving the right arch in the book, so any ideas, or help would be appreciated. I was given a photo/design the client wanted the cake to replicate, so I did. I enjoyed this challenge and couldn't have had more fun with this. Half chocolate cake half vailla cake both with strawberry filling (ps the strawberry filling i got from here, and it was amazing!). Thanks for looking, CSM
This cake was all strawberry cake, with cream cheese filling. The shoebox I have attempted before, but the purse was my first big purse! I was excited to attempt a purse with a designer name... also the high heels were extremely difficult, so if anyone has pointers, please help! Thanks for looking, CSM
This was a quilt/button design for a baby girl baby shower. I had a blast creating this two tiered, different size cakes, and baby girl topper. I worked really hard on the quilting around the second layer, and I have to say its really really frustrating to get it right. If anyone has any pointers on the quilting that would be great. CSM

I made this cake for another client, and this client saw it and had to have this for her daughter who was turning 4. So I made the same design, but with 4 candles, and also changed the bow up a little. I love this cake, and always have fun making it. TFL and I am a CSM memeber!
This cake was based off one of pinkcakebox.com's cake. The cake was for a princess girl who was turning 4 and wanted the crown, wand and all the glitter too! The entire cake is fondant and gumpaste. I really had a lot of fun with this cake. The cake is funfetti, and vanilla buttercream. I also made cupcakes with wands on them! TFL and I am a CSM member!!!
This cake was a chocolate cake with chocolate buttercream icing. I saw a tutorial from pink cake box on how to make a cute shoebox. I took a lot of their ideas and made this lovely cake. I had some serious issues with the high heel, but overall I really think it came out well. CSM
I did this as a raffle cake for a cake contest, that i helped host. The theme of the contest was Military Family and Life, so where I am stationed I have noticed a lot of woman who get pregnant and have their little ones while their husbands are deployed. I wanted to tie that into my cake design. TFL! CSM!
This was a fun cake. This is a replica, or an attempt at a replica of Belle, from Beauty and the Beast, her dress. I saw a similar cake done with Snow Whites dress, and I attempted this, and feel I could have done soooo much more, but the simplicity of the cake is what makes it so elegant. This was 2 birthday cakes (the first two names listed), and a goodbye cake (3rd name listed), all in one. This cake idea cake from the scuba dive that the group of people would be going on the day of the party. They were all headed out on a boat, and were going to scuba dive with the fish, and whales. The cake was designed by my client, with a few changes I made along the way, and this is the final design! I want to thank the two scuba tanks made by biviana and geehouse, who gave me great inspiration, as mine is not even close to yours I thank you for inspiring me so much! CSM
My client sent me this idea in pink, she was having a Cinderella themed birthday for her daughters 1st. Enjoyed taking the cake challenge on, and was happy with the out come, however, the original person who did the cake did way better then I did. I also did the quilt effect by hand. I dont have diamond cutters or the tool for the quilt effect. CSM!
Again, I get bored in class while my students work on their cakes, so I have a few minutes to put this lively cake together. I love teaching and when I do get a chance to just throw something together with leftover fondant on a dummy cake I soooo take the chance. I love making cakes that are just fun and I get a lot of my inspiration from everyone on here. So thank you everyone for looking and inspiring me to make beautiful cakes!
This is Apanman, he is a Japanese character that is a superhero. I was asked to do a cake for a little girl. but with apanman on the cake. So heres what I came up with. I saw this border done on a cake here on cake central. I don't have the name of the person I borrowed it from, but if you know who you are, thank you for you idea! I love how even with some harsh colors, this cake turned out some what girly! CSM!
