This cake was made for my daughter's 2nd birthday. Everything on the cake is edible. The tree and barn are made from rice krispie treats covered in fondant. My 8 year old daughter made the rooster, chicken, chicks, ducks, and sheep ALL by herself. I'm so proud of her. Best of all, all the kids got to pick and animal to eat along with their cake. I couldn't have done it without all CC's inspirations. Thanks!
This was my first attempt at a bust cake and airbrushing. I really enjoyed making this cake, but mostly enjoyed the smile on the child's face when he saw the cake. The Spiderman side is white cake and the Venom side is chocolate. Thanks to CC for all the inspiration.
This is a 4 tier cake with each cake being a different flavor. The scrolls are made from royal icing, dried, then painted with nu-silver dust. The topping is custom made by a friend who does floral arrangements and bottom is a boa.
This was my daughter's class cake for a cake auction at her school. I had each kid in her class cut and pick a sea animal out of fondant, paint it, then go back and draw faces and accents on them. We also made the seashells out of fondant using molds then painted those as well. We won first place and the cake sold for $320. The kids were so proud!!!!! It was a pretty proud moment for me as well. Thanks to CC!!!
I made these for a little boy's baptism, NFSC and royal icing.
I made these to match the cake. I used the caterpillar cookie cutter from the Wilton animals cookie cutter set
I used the sports ball pan for the cakes, dowel rods covered with icing for the antennaes and green coconut for the grass. The cakes are covered in buttercream icing.

This is a design I used from a Lindy Smith book with some minor changes. The cake board is covered in fondant, then painted.
This was my first 4 tier cake. It is a golden vanilla cake with strawberry filling, buttercream icing, and marshmallow fondant. The "pearls" are marshmallow fondant.
I made this cake for a groom. It's a pineapple cake w/pineapple filling. I covered it with buttercream frosting and then fondant. I got it from the 2006 Wilton yearbook.
