This is a 5 layer cake. The patties are chocolate and the bun is vanilla. Bun covered in MMF and painted with watered down brown and ivory gel food color. Patties have chocolate buttercream around them. Fries are MMF. Fun cake to make!

Had a blast making this cake. Great ideas from the other cc'ers!! I used 3 10 inch square pans, the Wilton half ball for the butt and RKT for the legs. Shoes are fondant.

Christmas Ornament Cupcakes

I've wanted to try these for years! Finally did. I used a half ball of cake on top of a regular sized cupcake. Covered in fondant. Next time I might go with a jumbo cupcake because the weight of the half ball started to buckle the sides of the cupcake. Still I am thrilled with how they turned out!

Mushroom Pizza Cake

I made this cake as a gift for my friend's wedding-it's the groom's cake. They love to order Mushroom Pizza! It's chocolate cake covered in MMF. I watered down some brown gel food color and swabbed it on with a wadded up paper towel. The mushrooms are fondant and the cheese is shredded white chocolate.

Bucket Of Beer

I used MMF mixed with some GumTex for the wood strips. Thanks to SweetResults and all the posters on that forum for the guide to making the sugar beer bottles and ice!! The labels and caps are from real beer bottles-I don't have an edible image printer. My friend was ecstatic! Fun cake to make.

Marine Corps Birthday Cake

I used all buttercream, except for the flag which was MMF. The topper is white chocolate painted with pearl dust. I had to make my own base for it because it was a mold. Along the bottom tier I listed some of the major battles of the Marine Corps.

Old Russell High School

This was 5 quarter sheet cakes stacked and iced in almond buttercream. I used a brick press/mat to make the bricks. Accents are fondant. This was for my dad's 50th High School Reunion. The building is no longer used as a school (and might not even be there anymore)! It was a hit-even with the crooked windows : )

This is a 3 layer round cake, iced in buttercream and decorated with fondant fence and flowers. Spade is gumpaste with some gumtex added for stiffness. Pot of pansies is king size cupcake covered in fondant.

Fondant accents that help describe all the important aspects this man's long life. Around the sides of the cakes I used buttercream to pipe on words that describe him, such as Daddy, Hero, Friend, etc.
