Dragon
WOW! I cant even calculate how long this thing took total but I started with 3 or 4 (cant remember!) big heart shaped devils food cakes. I carved the body out of those and the head was separate and made out of 3 or 4 devils food rounds. The scales were all made individual and took almost FIVE hours to cut them all, put them on and then paint each one. This cake was AWESOME. The little boy LOVED it and when we sang happy birthday we put the candles in his mouth so it looked like he was breathing fire!

Help Santa!
Made this for our annual holiday get together. The kids LOVED this one! Buttercream and MMF. The chimney part I made out of a cupcake. I actually made two of these, one for my family and then one for my husbands family. Found an idea for this one here I believe. Thank you for the inspiration!

Star Wars Death Star
Thank goodness I had my husbands help for this! I have never even seen one Star Wars movie so I had no idea what the death star was! He was major help with this one! He did the entire death star alone! It was just a styrofoam ball but still he did all the detail etc. The guy LOVED it! His grooms cake in their wedding was supposed to be a death star and they said mine was 100x better than the one they got from the professional place!

Lucky In Love!
This was for a bridal shower for a good friend of mine. We did a surprise lucky in love themed shower. It was very nice. Only the bottom layer is actually cake. The other two are dummies. MMF and buttercream for the piping. I wasnt real happy with how the top layer looked but it was still a hit!

Asian Themed Birthday Party
This was for a friend of my daughters 7th birthday. The party was very cool! Asian theme and they cooked a full meal and made a table that sat real low to the ground and all the girls sat on pillows. They had the lantern lights and everything. It was very cool! The cake just topped it off!

Hannah Montana
Hannah Montana cake I made for my daughters 6th birthday. Third cake I've ever made and first time I've used the melvira method. Thought it worked well! The stripes and spots were MMF as well as the squiggles, stars and name. Ideas came from several cakes here on CC. WAY exceeded my expectations! I thought it turned out awesome! Thanks for looking!
