This was for my hubbys birthday. As he's addicted to Liquorice allsorts I decided to make a cake which looked like his favourite sweet! I did 2 cakes, covered the big one with fondant icing and the little cake cut into cubes and covered with coloured fondant to look like sweets. Needless to say hubby loved it - so did the kids!!
I made this for hubbys Captains Day at his Bowls club a surprise for the rest of the teams, just to celebrate another year of bowls! Two layer sponge with vanilla buttercream filling, fondant covered. I copied the club badge from a picture and cut out some sugarpaste to the shape and painted the details on.

This is a practice cake I did, with 2 layer cake filled with strawberry & mango and a buttercream layer covered with fondant. I made the lily and freesias from flower paste. If i was doing this for someone and not just practice, I may put some cornelli sqiggles on the bottom cake, as I'm not sure it looks a bit bare on the bottom cake.
This is a cake I did for my Niece's 10th Birthday. She loves Scooby Doo, so did a 2 layer cake with chocolate buttercream filling, then covered with fondant. Scooby was made from a template and traced onto fondant, then cut out, placed on cake & coloured in. She loved it - so did all her friends!
Simple 2 layer cake, filled and covered with buttercream, then fondant. Sugar stars & small flowers on the top. It was a surprise and they were thrilled!
This was my first wedding cake, fairly simple, with 2 layer cake and fondant icing and spray of Roses & Freesias & ivy sugarflowers ontop. I loved making the flowers. the bride was thrilled.
