Did chocolate molding for the pots and put buttered popcorn for the gold. There is a rainbow on it, however I didn't plan on making the pots of gold so big so it is small and laying down on the top.
When trying to stack my cakes my sister texted me so I dropped the cakes not quite where they needed to be. Then when putting in the center dow I poked a little too hard and made a nice hole, I was able to cover it with the striping on the top. The bottom layer of this cake has chocolate mint ganache made by using Andes mints. All chocolate with this cake.
I'm not even going to get into what we went through making the flowers for this one. Suffice it to say we learned of Snow White buttercream and we use that from now on.
I joined this class so my sister would take it. She is the one who wanted to learn cakes and decorating, but once I took the course with her I fell in love with it too. We both put I'm done on our cakes, we thought it was fitting.
