Mallorie's Hello Kitty 2Nd Birthday
White with buttercream frosting and fondant accents. Thanks to all of the Hello Kitty cake creators who inspired me. I kind of used a "mish-mash" of different cake ideas I found on here. I luster dusted all of the flowers and used edible glitter on her name in fondant. Also got to use my new "cake jacks", LOVE those things. I wish I could think up inventions like that! Thanks for looking.

Close Up Of White Chocolate Molds For Cordova Wedding Cake
Molded white chocolate candy melts dusted with super pearl luster dust. Started making these and other shells about a week before wedding. Starfish was hard b/c I thought I had a mold and it was too late to order when I needed. Thanks to my art student sister who found some food safe molding compound and made a cast of a real starfish to use for the molds. I think she did a great job and they came out fine.

Twin Princess Baby Shower
First Fondant cake ever. Done for twin girl baby shower. First time using fondant lace press. Loved it and had so much fun making this. Still tricky to get fondant from being "wavy" at the bottom edge but easily disguised with the lace and ribbon. All edible fondant except for pillow I made with satin ribbons to put the "Princess crowns" I found at a costume jewelry store. White satin stand is the one I make for my wedding cake to set on last year. Thanks for looking.

Dora Cake For 1St Birthday
This is a last minute 1st birthday cake I did for my niece. I was in Atlanta, GA the night before so I baked the cakes after I got home that night and decorated the next morning. I make the little 6" round for the birthday girl to smash her little fingers in. She had a blast. Cake is half chocolate and half white in each layer with hazelnut buttercream filling.

First Wedding Cake Pic
Picture of my very first wedding cake ever. This is a cake I make for an August wedding in Galveston, TX. Very hot and humid this day. The temp was around 96 degrees with heat index in the 100's. Icing is all shortening BC and satin ribbons and pearls on cake tiers. Cake is chocolate with hazelnut BC and middle is white with rasberry jam filling. Didn't stay for wedding but told that it held up beautifully until cutting about 3 hours later.
