If only I had known that there were transfers for writing! I'm awful at free-hand writing - even with a toothpick! It always is way too big - so I couldn't get my son's full name on the cake. Initials worked, too! ;)

Tractor Birthday

My son was obsessed with tractors when he turned 2. If there were more people attending, I'd have made a 1/2 sheet but a 9x13 was more than enough - just had to squish the decorations a bit!

50Th Birthday

Easy on me - still just a novice here but having fun! This was for our boss's 50th surprise party. Thanks for the design inspiration, cakecentral.com!! This felt almost "too easy"!! ;)

I forgot that I was out of cake boards so I left this in the pan! It was a going away party cake for a co-worker (we're in the dairy industry) so I outlined a cow print and filled in using white & chocolate buttercream. Border & writing in fuscia (how much no-flavor red can one really use?!!? :)). It was a big hit - and very tasty!
