This cake cost me about $5.00 dollars to make. I used Cherylann's super moist cake mix and buttercream icing. I wanted to do so many things with this cake but money was so tight this month. This was my first. The next time I will try fondant for the whole gown. Also you may notice on the right there is a dent in the cake... thanks to my daughters!!!
I made this cake for my little Dixie Rose's 3rd Birthday. This was the first time I have ever done this. I have gotten a recipe from this CherlyAnn for her SUPER MOIST CAKE (wonderful I might add) and used Wilton's Buttercream icing recipe. It taste just like store bought... even better. I used sugar cookies covered in royal icing for the letters, dog bones, and such. I'm so proud of myself and I will not ever buy from the store again!!!
