Cake by Ms. Debbie. I am a contracted decorator in her bakery and asked her permission to upload this photo. Hopefully, I'll be doing one of these in the near future!! Shells are all white chococolate.
Tiered with green hydrangeas and coral roses
Yellow b/c with ribbon and daisies. Topper was made from mold.
White hexagon with side work and tiny blossoms; topper is difficult to see in pic but are 3 initials
Bride chose white hexagon with scroll sidework, fondant drapes and silk flowers.
Fresh flowers to be placed at reception sight. Will upload photo and replace this one after I have photos of completed cake.
Dummy cake..wanted to try my hand at a beach theme cake. Hibiscus, shells, etc., gumpaste; coral is royal icing.
I made this to put on the top of a dummy cake but haven't done the cake yet!! Everything is done in 50/50 fondant/gumpaste.
This is a replica of the bride's china patter...Vera Wang's "lace".
Simple floral.
Hope this is helpful for someone...
Hope this is helpful for anyone wanting to make fan coral...
The inspiration for this design came from Kimberly Fulton, a decorator in Michigan. I don't know if she is a CC'er, but she is an awesome decorator....All flowers and fruit are 50/50 fondant/gumpaste.I think this cake could be for many different occasions.
Closeup of dummy for silent auction. These flowers took forever to make!! 50/50 fondant and gumpaste. Thanks for looking...please critique...
For a co-worker's going away..
Nothing fancy...just a cake for someone at my husband's office who is retiring. She's very "fru-fru" as stated by my DH. So she got a 'fru-fru' cake!
This is what my neice wanted for her birthday. I could NOT talk her into adding anything...dots, flowers, initial, scrollwork...NOTHING! The top layer has a flat "21" in black fondant.
White cake, caramel vanilla buttercream covered with blue fondant (Toba Garrett recipe); Blue wave is gumpaste and royal icing; fondant gator, gumpaste surfboard, other decorations are fondant; sand is natural sugar
