Super Mario Brothers
This is a very close copy of a photo found on Flickr, which was taken by someone at a wedding, who credits Robin from Gateaux Inc. as the baker. I was asked to re-created it on a smaller scale. 10 hours later, here it is! I'm pretty pleased with it! All fondant except the blue buttercream on the bottom tier. Plastic Princess and Mario figurines. Fondant and Royal Piranha Plants and turtle shells will be added on-site when it's delivered.

Blue And Brown Circle Cake
There are chocolate fondant curly-q's and a topper that will be added later but I wanted to get the cake before I added them because I'm not sure I'll like the topper! Buttercream with chocolate fondant accents. I've been excited to try one of these circle cakes for a while and finally got the chance.

Castle Cake
The couple is getting married at Castle Farms in Michigan so the shower cake matches it! All buttercream except the roofs which are fondant/gumpaste mix and rolled buttercream door and windows. Would have added the window pane lines if my hands would have quit shaking! I was so nervous with this one!

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles
Lots of firsts in one cake AGAIN! First chocolate buttercream cake, first character cake, first time making a cake for someone else who requested a specific theme or design! I'm still a little bit shaky! :) First FBCT, probably the last. Did a dozen of the turtle heads because they kept breaking!

Simple Mickey
For a friend's son's 2nd Birthday - She drew out the design, baked the bottom tier and then we assembled and decorated together. Bottom is fondant, top is rolled buttercream Mickeys on buttercream. Hat topper is an ice cream cone with fondant decorations. I would have liked a simple border on the top tier but we ran out of time and she wanted to keep it simple anyway. Had fun doing this, umm... the morning of the party that's the good part about doing this for fun with the friend that it's for! ;)

Coffee & Tea - My First Stacked Cake!
More firsts for me again! Bottom is chocolate-covered coffee bean cake with almond-cinnamon SMBC, covered with chocolate Bettercream and chocolate stripes, drips and drizzle. Top is chai cake with the same almond-cinnamon SMBC, covered with fondant and chocolate Bettercream for the coffee. Spoon is fondant with luster dust. I took some inspiration on the mug cake from a few posted here at CC.
