Boss' Day Cake

This is a cake to celebrate Boss' Day at my office. It is WASC with caramel and vanilla instead of almond and bc icing. I love the rosette technique!! It is so fast and easy!!

Clemson Birthday

This is a birthday cake for my oldest son. He is a huge fan of the Clemson Tigers, a local college football team. The cake is chocolate and vanilla vertical layers and the icing is bc. BTW, I am a huge fan of the USC Gamecocks, which happens to be the rival of Clemson so this was definitely a labor of love!!! LOL

Practice Cake

I wanted to try the petal and vertical layers techniques so I made this practice cake. The heart shape on the top was an accident but ended up okay.

Blooming Birthday

Square cake with blue bc. All decorations are fondant and were made using the Wilton Nature Fondant Mold.

Tinkerbell

Sand Castle On The Beach

Sand castle "built" with RKT covered in BC and crushed vanilla wafers. Piping gel water and candy shells.

Red Roses

Satellite cakes are "dummies". The rest are white cake with bc icing.

Minnie Mouse Cake

This was a 1st birthday cake for my niece. The ears are black fondant. The hat is a "smash" cake.

Buried Treasure

Treasure chest cake. White cake with chocolate frosting. Gold covered chocolate coins, ring pops and candy necklaces. The sand is light brown sugar. Not really happy with the water, but it was a last minute addition. This was for my son's 4th birthday. He loved it!!

The basketweave was done with tip 18. Fondant daisies.

This is a "tiffany" box cake for a bridal shower. Bow and ribbons are fondant.

Birthday Luau

Bottom tier is white cake with bc icing. Top tier is a dummy covered in bc icing and then "sponge" painted with a different color of bc. All letters and flowers are fondant.

Wrestling Ring

This is a white cake covered in fondant. The posts are wooden dowel rods "painted" with black tint paste. The ropes are thread. The only problem is that the "paint" didn't really dry. It was very messy taking apart to cut the cake.

Roaring Good Time

This is my baby's 1st birthday cake. The lion smash cake is the 1974 Lovable Animals pan by Wilton. Both cakes are covered in bc.

Just Ducky

This is a white cake covered in bc icing. The "pond water" is tinted piping gel and i used rubber ducks.

Hula Anyone?

This is a 3 tiered white cake covered in bc with fondant flowers.

The two round cakes are white cake with white bc. The flowers and monogram are fondant. The baby bum is entirely fondant.

Dress And Monogram

14" and 10" rounds with bc icing. The 10" has been cut so that it fits against the 14". The dress is fondant with non-edible rhinestones. I removed the arms and head from a doll pick and the torso in half. I covered the neck and top portion with black fondant and then added the dress . Monogram is fondant and combines the "K" that begins the bride's first name and the "C" that begins the groom's first name. The monogram is dusted with silver luster dust and non-edible rhinestones.

This was a white cake with bc icing. It was for my best friends 10th wedding anniversary. The stand is by Wilton, but I found it at a local thrift store for $2.50.

Luau Pig

The pig is molded rice krispie treats covered with mmf on top of white cake with bc icing. The "fire" is red licorice. This was my first attempt at rice krispie molding and it was not as easy as I imagined. This was my son's birthday cake and he was happy with it, so that's all that matters.

Red Hat Society

This is a carved hat for a "Red Hatter's" birthday. White cake, red bc icing and purple fondant bow, and roses. Picture resolution is not great, but birthday "girl" was happy with the outcome.

Pot Of Roses

This is a last minute birthday "cake" for my mom. Roses are fondant on top of mini cholocate cupcakes. Leaves are silk and pot is plastic. Idea came from other pictures in the CC gallery.

Roses And Lace

The bride specifically asked for red cornelli lace and red cascading roses. I wasn't sure how it would look, but it turned out okay.

This cake was for my SIL. I was the MOH, baked the cake and decorated the church and reception site. Cake is all white covered in fondant with fondant swags. Unfortunately, the picture was pre digital camera and did not turn out very well.
