9" Oreo Cookie Brownie With Williams Sonoma Pan
I made this 9" "Oreo" Cookie cake with brownie mix instead of cake mix. I made it with a Williams Sonoma Pan that they just brought out. I think its so cute and probably would be good with ice cream too! I put an apple next to it so you can see the size a bit better.

Square Wedding With Swirls And Roses
The bride and groom are adding the topper - it will be an "M" monogram. The cake is 12" bottom/7" top- french vanilla with raspberry filling. I also airbrushed it with pearl airbrush spray which should look pretty in the sunshine. I think it turned out beautiful. I tried a new technique for imprinting the swirls on the side of the cake and it was sooooooo fast! I just hope it all holds up in the heat. I used a high ratio shortening and lots of supports inside... so cross your fingers. I used the pre-made Wilton roses.

Pirate Ship Birthday Cake For Ben
This is my 3rd pirate ship cake. You could eat everything but the mast poles and the characters. My nephew wanted a ninja fighting a dragon on the ship. We bought the characters at Target. There is a little red swirl in the water and that is a pirate hat floating in the middle of swimming sharks- ewwww! I used the nordic ware pirate ship pan but you have to add another layer of cake underneath because its not tall enough. I then add a 14" square under that for water. You can skip that if you don't need that much cake.

Pokemon Cake With Cookies
I made this for a girl that is a HUGE fan of Pokemon. It has Pokemon rings pressed in the sides of the cakes and I used edible images on cookies I made in the Wilton cookie on a stick pans. It's a 10" square cake with the Wilton Sports ball pan on top. One thing I learned is that the fondant really weighed down the ball and kind of squished it. I don't know how I would fix that in the future.

Crimson Shark Pirate Ship
I made this cake for Bobby and he wanted a red hull. I think it turned out very cute! You could eat everything except for the pirates and pole for the mast. I used the Nordic Ware Pirate cake pan for the ship and added another layer to the bottom of the ship using a 9x13 pan. The bottom cake was 14" square. Sharks, masts, coins, cannon balls, cannons are made of fondant. Railing is chocolate licorice.

Kortney's 16Th Birthday! Welcome To Illinois!
I made this cake for Kortney who just moved to Illinois from Alaska. She loves horses. If you look closely, you can see the homemade candy medallions I made with horses on them. I also made the letters & 16 on the top out of candy. She wanted roses too so there are pink and black roses on the top with white leaves to keep with the color scheme. She is really homesick for Alaska right now so I used the moose cookie cutter to put the fondant design around the top. The bottom cake is 10" and 2 kinds of chocolate cake with chocolate mousse filling and the 6" top is french vanilla with strawberry filling. Each cake has 4 layers. I loved meeting her and her family and I think she really liked her cake!

Monkey For Thea
The monkey was created using the Wilton monkey pan and is made of a single batch of chocolate chip cookie dough. The cake underneath is a 14" square cake. The birthday girl likes a cookie cake every year from the mall and mom like a "regular" birthday cake- I have a feeling I will be making cakes for this family for years to come- no more mall cookies!

St Louis Cardinals Baseball Base
I made this cake for my friend Donna. Her mom orders a cake for her every year and the theme is always Cardinals baseball! I think it turned out cute and I used cocoa powder to dirty up the base and I like that effect. I traced the logo onto a separate piece of fondant and then filled it in with buttercream stars. The effect of that made it looked "stitched". All of the fondant is Satin Ice- I love the taste of that stuff- like marshmallow cream and no work to make it!
