Cone of hat is Mexican chocolate cake/icing and it's covere din satin ice fondant, tacos are candy melts w/ crushed cookies, MMF "condiments", white icing "sour cream, plate tacos are on is hardened satin ice fondant, chocolate fudge cake w/ poured ganache and fanned strawberries.........

Spaghetti & Meatballs Take-Out!

Inspired by the many spaghetti & meatball cakes posted here. This was for a spaghetti meal fellowship we had at church for the youth department. I made two; one with "parmasen cheese sprinkled over (white choclate) and one pan w/ out the "cheese"....LOL

Clue Cake

I was asked to make a"CLUE themed" cake for a teen activity....this is what I came up with. The game board is NOT cake but a real game board I used for display purposes. I wish I had gotten a close up of all the weapons but oh well I pasted a few small pics of the weapons in main picture to just give you an idea of the outcome of the weapons....I used wilton's pearl dust for the weapons and for a few of the yellow square

Dirt Track - Motocross

Simple, quick, & fun cake! My 9 year old asked for a dirt track cake that looked just like the dirt track his uncle takes him to. Everyone loved it. It was quick & simple yet yummy!! Cookies & cream cake w/ buttercream icing.

Laptop Cake

I made this for my hubbies 40th birthday. Everything is edilble. Cookies & cream cake cake with buttercream icing, MMF covering the cake, chocolate MMF covering the grahm cracker screen (grahm crackers covered w/ bakers white cococlate) Keys are chocolate MMF- number, logos etc hand painted w/ Americolor coloring. I set the cake up beside hubbies real laptop so that he could see how much the cake looked like his laptop.LOL

Girls Rule

I made this for my daughter's 11th birthday. strawberry cake (bottom) choco. fudge (top) filled & iced w/ buttercream. Marshmallow Fondant. The cake was fun but very,very,very time consuming! It was worth though to see my daughters smile!!

Disaster Cake! Lol

**NEXT TIME I WILL ADD WAVES TO THE SIDE........I TOTALLY RAN OUT OF TIME W/THIS ONE BECAUSE I WAS MAKING 2 CAKES AT ONCE (the skateboard cake) Anyway.....I made this for a "Luau" party at a friend's house. That they NEVER SAW! (I dropped it on the way .....I spent some time making the hula girll "perfect". The girl is the only thing I like about the cake so I'm kind of glad I dropped it!LOL

Skateboard

Made for my son�s 14th birthday. .Middle section is 9x13 cookies & cream cake the round ends are 9in.round-cut fudge chocolate it was all iced in buttercream ....the "riser, trucks, & screws" (if you look closely you can see that I made "screws"...they all were made from MMF fondant.......the "rods" were pretzel rods wrapped in fondant...the "wheels" were white mini donuts rolled in cocoa to make it appear "used" LOL The flames I free handed from fondant

My 1St Cookie Bouquet

First try at making a cookie bouquet. A big thanks to Pearl for the recipe! Pearl's sugar cookie recipe tinted yellow - decorated with homemade MMF and edibel markers.

Cake Presents-My First Fondant Bow

I made this cake for my Mom's 64th birthday. Yellow is her favorite color so I iced it in yellow tinted homemade Butter Cream and made MMF for the ribbons & bows. She loved it!

Cars Movie

My son loves the movie Cars so I made him this cake for his birthday! I took and combined the ideas of bjfranco & helipops...thank you both!!!!!!!! I'm working on a Route 66 sign now...I almost forgot about adding that!

Pumpkin Patch

I made this cake for a Fall Festival gathering at a friends house. The cake is dark chocale fudge with a choc.chip filling - icied in buttercream. Scarecrow, pumpkins, fence, hay stack all made w/ MMF.

Gameboy Cake

I made this for my son's 12th birthday. He was into his gameboy so he loved the cake. I made it to be the color of his. It looked better in person. The light hanging above the cake apparently left a glare on the cake when I took the picture. (This cake was one of my first "decorated cakes" yikes...hopefully I've improved some.LOL)
