Nightmare Before Christmas Wedding
This was my first topsy turvey/mad hatter cake ever and I'm super pleased on how it came out - so was the bride. Design is my own little twist on Collette Peters "Nightmare Before Christmas" cake that the bride brought to me for inspiration (yeah I about fell over, CP is a god). I even made gumpaste Sally and Jack toppers for the cake...though Sally went through three heads and I still don't think I got her right. Jack is spot on. Thanks for looking!

Lullaby Lamb
For a sleeping lamb baby shower, I carved the lamb from a 8x4 round, crumb coated, and then covered in fondat. Made wooly look by doing mini rosettes all over the body. Everything on this cake is completely edible; lamb is chocolate cake with coconut filling and sheet cake is white cake with sliced strawberry filling. Thanks for looking.

Gerber Daisy Wedding
My first ever wedding cake! I'm really pleased how it turned it, I was trying my best not to over decorate it since it was a small cake (8" bottome with 6" top). Everything is edible (flowers and pearls) and though I did not make the daisy's, I did airbrush them to the specific colors I needed.; cake was WASC with cocount filling. thanks for looking

Kaela's Gibson Guitar
This cake was a graduation present from my friend Mirtha to her daughter. Her daughter is graduating with focused studies on Music, Literature, and Writing so we decided to replicate a Gibson ES335 (her favorite), make a book to represent the literature background, print one of her poems on edible paper, and of course a graduation cap (made of chocolate). Thanks for looking.

Chloe's Horse Themed Birthday
Made 24 horse cupcakes for the daughter of my friend but made sure to make an extra special horse for the little birthday girl. She got her very own princess horse that I sculpted from gumpaste. Horses for her guests were little plastic ones bought at the party store. Thanks for looking.

Crying Baby Shower Cake
Made for my friend Laura who was hosting a shower for her friend Gill. She found this cake on a planning (shower) website and asked me to replicate so if this is your original design, PM me and I'll give you the credit you deserve. Despite all the termoil that happened before I could even bake this cake (my oven broke), I think it turned out almost exactly like the original. I just hope my friend likes it. Chocolate cake filled with Oreos and Cream Mousse, lighted frosted with BC and covered in Satin Ice. All details in Satin Ice. Thanks for looking.

Red & Black Coach Purse
So this cake was far more challenging to me than I thought it would be and surprisingly, it wasn't the purse.....it was the shoe box! Purse was done in about 3 hours and the darn shoe box took me easily 6-8 hours to complete. Mainly that was due to my own stupidity (fondant wasn't long enough) but I just couldn't get it to look right. After three attempts, what you see is what I settled on. Overall, I like the outcome. Shoe, Roses, Pearls, and Flowers are all gumpaste. Purse is Marble cake with chocolate filling covered in Satin Ice; Coach design was airbrushed on with Silver Luster. Shoe Box is Chocolate Cake with chocolate filling covered in Satin Ice. Martini glass is plastic but it's filled with red glitter gel.

Fantasy Island
One of my girlsfriends at work asked me to re-create the "Fantasy Island" cake originally done by Freeds Bakery out of LV and boy was it a challege. Waterfall is wilton sparkle gel, rocks are satin ice, Palms are a gumpaste and fondant mix, seashells are chocolate, plants are plastic (hated to do that), and flowers are gumpaste. Bottom tier is chocolate cake with straweberry fill, middle is strawberry cake with bavarian fill, and top tier is WASC with strawberry fill. Thanks for looking.

Letters and box outline are satin ice allowed to dry, gumpaste butterflies on the letters, and gumpaste lilies on top. thx for looking.

Black & White 30Th Birthday
Made this for one of my girlfriends 30th surprise birthday party and it was my first ever shoe attempt (very pleased with the outcome). Cake is Neopalitian Tiered (White Top, Strawberry Middle, and Chocolate Bottom), covered in SatinIce Fondant, Shoe is Gumpaste, and I used real ribbon....had a heck of a time trying to use SatinIce for those details and finally gave up. Thanks for looking!

Turkey Cake! Gobble Gobble
Finally got to make one...I've been admiring everyone elses on there for awhile now and my work had a potluck and I just had to try it! Buttercake handcarved, rice crispy treats hand molded for the drumsticks and wings, all of it was then covered with BC and then I took a papertowel to make the dimpled skin...I let it chill and then airbrushed to resemble a roasted turkey. The stuff that looks like cornbread is just some of the left over butter cake that I cubed. Thanks for looking

Hanna Montana Guitar
Finally got to do a guitar and I went all out; Guitar is about 30 inches long and weighed a ton...ended up feeding about 50 students and a hand full of teachers (the mom took it to her daughters school at lunchtime). Cake was handcarved WASC, thick BC coat (1" easy), SatinIce Fondant. Guitar details are gumpaste and stings are floral wire. Stars are SatinIce and design was handpainted. Super proud of this one!! Bakugan Birthday Cake
I never even heard of show/game before my girlfriend asked me to make this for her son so it was an adventure trying to come up with something. Eventually decided to make the battle arena and the little battle brawlers that the kids toss on the arena mat according to the card they pull. It was a huge hit at the party!
