I received a request for a baby shower cake, my client stated that she has several granddaughters and this would be her first grandson. She was very open to me designing a cake for her so I immediately thought how cute would a prince the me (not the artist, LOL) be for a first grandson. This cake was done for a pretty brilliant girl turning 16 years old. Her mom stated that she is teaching herself Japanese. So the inscription reads "Happy Birthday" in Kanji, Romaji & English. The cake features a hand carved sculpted waist with bling accents. Chocolate cake with vanilla buttercream top tier and vanilla cake with Amaretto Mocha Buttercream bottom tier.

I absolutely loved making this cake! All elements are made from sugar with the exception of the rhinestones that are featured on the baby sneakers and diaper. The client requested the baby on top and the "ugly doll" (go figure). Thanks for looking!

This cake was done for a seven year old girl's birthday. Except for the feathers all decorations are MMF. The wedge method was used for the topsy turvy design. The feathers were wrapped in florist tape prior to inserting in cake. Lemon cake with Cream Cheese BC. TFL.

I had to re-upload this cake showing the monogram cake topper. Thanks to KHalstead for her pictorial on how to make it. I learned a few things for the next one I make which is very soon, but overall I was happy with my first attempt. TFL.
This was for my daughters 8th birthday. Unfortunately it was a bit of a rush wish I had the time to really make the cake I wanted for her. I didn't have a suitable butterfly cutter so I had to cut the butterflies by hand. The cake is covered in MMF and the flowers, topper, and butterflies are all gumpaste. TFL.
