He did it again. Thanks to CakesbyLJ for the inspiration. All in buttercream and MMF. The Christmas tree was bc on an ice cream cone. For the cupcakes, I used a Hershey kiss for the base of the tree. Be warned though that candy canes start to dissolve in bc.
This is the cake that I made for my son's kindergarten graduation. 4 cupcake flavours, BC frosting, pre-colored Satin Ice fondant. I made the grad cap out of a 6" round carved to shape. The tassel is a key-chain from the party store. The cupcake stand is home-made from plywood, cake rounds and PVC piping.
I made 2 similar sheet cakes to go with the Kindergarten Graduation cake that I donated to my daughter's graduation ceremony. Buttercream with fondant accents. 11 x 15 ".
Buttercream with MMF accents, food safe marker writing. 6 and 10 inch square cakes offset. Each kid had a star with their name on it. Done as a gift to my daughter's Kindergarten graduation. Also served 2 sheet cakes for 100 servings total.
