This is my first wedding cake. A little unconventional, but what the bride wanted. I used too much jam/buttercream filling and the bottom layer started to shift before I finished. I had to transport in two pieces. Cheryl, my instructor, helped me remedy the problems and fix the cake on site!

Cornucopia
I had to do one cornucopia in my lifetime, and this is it. The cake was 8" layers butter pecan. On the sides are diamonds with the same vegetables and fruits from the top in the centers. The horn was supposed to be swirled basket, but looked more like fish scales. The fruit and vegetables were fun to make. This was the November birthday cake at work
