White cake w/ buttercream, covered in fondant. Cake parts were carved and covered in fondant. Cake was not quite dense enough to hold the edges of the rocket shapes...they almost look like they belong in the Adult category!!! But there wasn't a crumb left by the end of the party!

This was my Christmas cake. I had a snow theme going on. Its' white cake and buttercream with fondant covering. This was my first attempt at cake carving and it was soooo much fun. Unfortunately, it settled a bit unfer all that fondant and my dowel poked out the top. If you look closely, you can see where I tried to camoflauge it.
This was my experiment playing with fondant. It was my brother-in-law's first marathon. I used a new cake recipe and unfortunately tasted horrible but was a hit anyway whan they saw Mike on the cake.
