Watermelon Cake
Made this for a band party the other day. If I made this cake again, I would NOT use that serving platter, it's hard to get the stars down on the cake at such a weird angle, and I would have made another batch of frosting. I don't know who believes that whole "1batch covers and fills 2 8-ich rounds easy" thing but it's NOT TRUE. I didn't even have enough to frost underneath the stars like you should have normally. I was literally SCRAPING frosting from my bowl trying to get the last 1/4 finished. =(

Off To Texas!
I made this cake 8.12.06 for my older sister who is going to Texas (tyler) for her masters, and she'll be teaching classes as well. She will be gone for 3 years, and we will only get to see her around Christmas time, since it is rather expensive and time consuming to come back home to Florida. Frozen buttercream transfer in the middle, and the cream cheese frosting melted some....and...yeah. =)

Strawberry Shortcake Character Pan
This one I guessed where all the things went because I didn't read the directions (silly me). But It came out okay. Her eyes were supposed to be black, but I really didn't feel like making black frosting for just her eyes. I was disappointed that it melted so much in the night before I took the picture. (Finished the cake at about 3 AM. and said forget it, pictures tomorrow.) *shrug* Oh well, it tasted good--it was marble cake =)
