9" square iced in buttercream with red fabric ribbon and bow.
This is a double layer 10" doctored yellow cake. It is iced in buttercream, and filled with blueberry pie filling mixed with buttercream. The top is more pie filling and fresh blueberries. The sides are adorned with Pirouette cookies. I made it for my great-granddaddy's 89th birthday. He has blueberry bushes in his back yard and we have fond memories of picking them with him.
I am not a cake professional, so please be considerate! :~) I only do themed cakes for my son and daughter's birthdays. I used the detailed directions on this site (THANK YOU) to make Spiderman. He is not perfect AT ALL, but my son (and everyone at his party) LOVED it! I love that he loved it!
