buttercream icing, fondant squares and track
This was done entirely in buttercream, with the exception of the bottle and the glasses of course!
I was going great until the last couple of stripes.....the phone rang...oops!
This one was for a kindergarten and fourth grade class, very simple but the kids loved eating it!
This was a cake using the wilton rose (from the first course).
This is the final cake from Wilton course 2. I was actually surprised how cool it came out!
This was my first experience with fondant....the box and the cheese are fondant... the rest is buttercream, except for the bottle--that's actually a bottle!
I wanted to try this for the first time....I obviously need some practice!!!!
Here is a view of the top of the cake...sorry i dont know how to put it all on one pic yet..... i'll work on it!
The turtle was made using a pyrex bowl, mini cupcakes for the legs, and a regular sized cupcake for the head. I used a star tip with moss green and brown coloring, then a paper towel to blend the colors on the shell...
