This was the cake that I made for my Dad and Step-Mom for their 25th Anniversary. I also helped make their original Wedding cake...when I was 7 years old! It was a thrill to do this for them! Devil's Food inside with Chocolate mousse filling. My special Buttercream on the outside. Simple and easy. Hard part was delivering it almost 200 miles assembled! But it made it just fine!

I made this cake for my son's 1st grade class party for Halloween. The kids loved it and so did the teachers. Vanilla cake with strawberry jam filling. Homemade buttercream and candy pumpkins. Found Snoopy and house at CVS!!! Very easy and very good!!
I quickly made this cake 2 days ago for my little family. It's gone already! It was so good! Just basic yellow cake mix baked in 5 very thin layers. Filling is pureed strawberries mixed with Cool Whip. Covered in Cool Whip. I will be maiking many of these over the summer and wil try it with other fruits. So easy and so good!
My son is crazy about anything dealing with outer space. So he wanted all the planets on his 6th birthday cake. I searched all over the internet and our local library and couldn't find anything he'd like. So he and I got a box of fondant and went wild! He heloed make all the planets and the sun. The stars are candy that I found in a local dollar store and just picked out the yellow ones. The inside is Duncan Hines yellow with white chocolate mousse. The frosting is buttercream tinted dark blue.
I made a butter cake with a pumpkin spice mousse. The frosting is cream cheese buttercream. The effect of mousse and frosting is like pumpkin cheesecake! Taste wonderful! The leaves are gum paste. Never used it before. Didn't turn out as bad as I figured it would! I made this for a neighbor's annual Thanksgiving Pig Pickin' .
My son loved these guys around his 3rd birthday and I couldn't find a bear pan. I made a 2 tier (A 10 and 6 inch) and used buttercream in a bright blue. All the trim is also buttercream and very bright colors. Hot Pink, Lime green, Yellow and Orange. Big hit at the party and he gets to play with the Bears that were on top. I found them at a dollar store.
