I wanted to try the luster dust on the buttercream roses. I ran out of frosting for my border, but I thought the cake turned out OK. I love luster dust!! It was so much fun painting on the roses. I felt like a real artiste.

I used WBH frosting. I love how it tastes, but I almost cried trying to get it smooth. I'm going to keep practicing and follow tips for IMBC. Buttercream roses.
I'm practicing my roses. They were quite difficult for me. I think my frosting was too soft because they kept falling over. ?? any suggestions would be helpful!
2nd cake, 2nd lesson.
I just started a Wilton cake class. I was so excited after the first lesson I had to try to make something. I used the WBH frosting and flavored it with chocolate and espresso. I'll stick to the regular frosting next time.
