Belly cake for a Fall-themed baby shower. This was only my second time working with fondant, so excuse the lumps. Belly was a Wilton soccer ball pan, breasts were carved from glass ramekins. Thanks to CC for the inspiration!
Though I didn't have time to bake/frost the cake, I did stack and decorate my sister's wedding cake. The leaves are gum paste dusted with luster dusts. Pumpkins are made of pastillage. Satin ribbon trim. She cried when she saw it. I was so happy to be able to do this for her. Thanks to everyone here at CC for the inspiration!
Made this for a true chocolate-lover. Two layers of chocolate torte cake (similar to flourless chocolate cake) filled with a layer of Nutella and stabilized whipped cream. Surrounded with Pirouettes and topped with ganache and tempered chocolate seashells that were dusted with gold luster dust.
