These cupcakes and cake were done for the daughter of a friend who was turning one. The invitation and party theme was an owl with pink and green colors. The owl was cut to resemble the one on the invitation. The owl, flowers and paisley are all fondant, everything else is buttercream. The bow is also fondant with some luster dust. Grouping of cakes for a friend's lamb themed baby shower. All Iced in buttercream with fondant lambs and bow. It's my first bow ever, so thanks to everyone at CC for inspiration and help. Also thanks for pointing me to aine2's video for the lambs. They were a huge hit.
This cake was done for a co-worker who was transfering to another department. Chocolate and Yellow cakes with a mixture of buttercream and mashed fresh strawberries for filling. All icing is buttercream. The string and text are mint chocolate, the mailing label is mint chocolate letters with a white chocolate backing.
