Hi. Thanks to whoever on this board did this cake previously. I made a bigger version carved out of two sheet cakes. covered in MMF and painted w/ luster dust.
This is a shower cake I made for a coworker. I think the idea may have came from this board. I really can't remember but thanks anyway!!!! The baby is made out of candy melts I painted w/ luster dust.
Here is a closeup of the eagle. The color is off in the picture. the colors were actually alot more subtle.
This is a cake I did for my pastor's birthday. I should have done better but I ran out of time. The eagle took me about 16 hours. The head is made out of rice krispies and the wings are gumpaste on cardboard. The feathers were placed 1 by 1 taking 14 hours but worth it. The leather gear is scapbooking items.
