Another Beach Cake
We live at the beach and make a lot of "beach cakes" shells and sand with chairs on top, or hibiscus flowers... I convinced this girl off of the sand and instead used blue colored dragees, and a sand colored fondant border (with of course, the chocolate shells!)
Quilting And Swirls
The bride designed this cake and I executed it for her. Quilting imprints on fondant, but I had to stop to add in the 2 toned swirls. Gumpaste flowers and leaves
Buttercream Blue Squares
buttercream iced squares - 10", 8", 6" and 4" - they held a special form of torture for me. yellow fondant ribbon and gumpaste flowers
Square With Meandering Flowers
Fondant covered square cakes with fondant pearl borders. The bride didn't want a traditional cascade, so we went with a meandering cascade of sugar roses, hydrangeas and pointy stephanotis
Red velvet cake sculpted and covered in fondant to look like the grooms motorcycle. I cut down a 7" dummy round to make the tires and discs in the center.
Purple Gold And Ivory Q Cake
Fondant covered purple, ivory and gold Quinceanera cake. This is my first time working with the fountain and stair case design, but the birthday girl was very serious to have it. Sugar callas on the tops and between tiers.
Ice Bucket With Beer
This was actually their wedding cake, bride and groom having their fave beer on top! Chocolate cake with cream cheese buttercream, carved to be an ice bucket, with sugar beer bottles and gelatin ice cubes
White On White Damask
12, 8, and 6" rounds covered in white fondant. RI stenciled damask design. Dusted with a mixture of nu silver and super pearl, then a red fondant ribbon border and fondant bow.

Topsy Turvy Offset 4Th Of July!
16" square, 10" square and 6" square, carved, angled and offset. Covered in fondant, decorated with fondant.
Ivory With Pink Roses
Ivory fondant covered topsy turvy, with fondant vines and leaves, and RI roses. I normally do the cut in to make it level stacking method for topsy turvy's, but this time I stacked it crooked. I was very happy with it. I also had the joy of doing this whole cake with pneumonia, so it was quite a big relief to deliver it :)
Wedgewood Jewelery Box
The bottom layer is a 12" round with a 10" round cut in half and then crescent-ed and stuck on. Each layer was done this way, just getting smaller. Covered in fondant, stencil, brush embroidery, and a tiny rose mold was used for the decorating. Gumpaste gardenias, roses, leaves, and other blossoms. I *loved* making this cake. The bride sent me a picture of a wedgewood jewelery box that she had, and told me I could surprise her with whatever I wanted. She loved it, everyone did.
I had some extra batter and decided to practice the tall tapered tier. I just love that look. I'm not very impressed with my version of it, I couldn't use a fondant smoother because of the shape, so it was kind of lumpy. Also playing with my new cutters from GSA! Gumpaste flowers.
Raspberry And Orange
Surprise 40th b-day party that I struggled with hard. I was told the colors and then to go with it, and I just wasn't feeling it! 10", 8" and 6" tapered, fondant covered, fondant decorated...
Green With Pearls
I have another titled Coral with Pearls. Green buttercream with a lot of edible pearls from GSA. White Chocolate flowers. 12", 10", 8" and 6" cakes were chocolate with hazelnut filling. She did not order a cake stand, but once it was on the table and surrounded by all of the table decor, the cake was lost. We had the tree trunk from another cake and it worked perfectly! Bride loved it.
latte colored buttercream on a 14", 12" 8" and 6" round. I put it on flimsy board and wiggled it after the buttercream crusted - it gave this awesome old rustic stucco kind of look. Piped on olive branches, then painted them with a few different dusts to give dimension.
Celebrating my own birthday. The bottom 3 tiers were dummy layers, the 8" was a big chocolate chip cookie, the 6" was coconut cake, and the 4" a rice krispy treat. All covered in fondant. with fondant and gumpaste decorations. Board around it with non-edible sand and zen rake.
